The butterfly counts not months but moments and yet has enough time.

Butterflies are one of my absolute things - these were just beautiful pics MG. And yes, I too loved the quote - there is a real lesson in there for all of us. I am trying to live in the moment, one day at a time, and not waste time worrying about tomorrow; not easy for a self-confessed control freak, but it's something to aspire t :)

It is ironic that I posted this one today.

My wonderful neighbor V came over this afternoon to let me know that she won't be home tonight. Her husband K was taken to hospital yesterday and is doing really poorly.

He has been fragile ever since I have known them - at one point I wasn't sure he would see Christmas.

I wonder whether at times when the end is so very near whether there are ever enough moments. Seeing the tears in her eyes, I am not sure V would think so right now.

I know when John passed all I would have given anything for one more day, or even one more minute. Yes K may rally but it is just an incredibly sad time.

what stunning (orange) shots, and the quote was lovely as well :) i have a fabulous booki should show you one day, its at work, remind me...called lifetimes. it's written for children and explore the theme of lifetimes and everything having a certain time on earth. Although I agree it cannot ever be long enough for anyone I love...the book brings me comfort, especially after we lost Dad xo
