I was helping someone cook a roast tonight but I really wanted to make the "Low-fat Chicken Strips with Sweet Chilli Yogurt" that was featured on the cover of this month's Super Food Ideas magazine.
Thankfully G volunteered to eat it (as a vege I wasn't going to but I really wanted to cook it).
Now I left my cute little sauce dishes at home so had to improvise but I think it looked okay. And let me tell you - it is dead easy and very quick. The only thing I did differently to the recipe was to refrigerate the strips for at least 30 minutes after crumbing them, and I didn't spray them with oil because we don't have that at work.
If you haven't got the magazine, and would like the recipe just leave a comment and I will post it asap.
If you do get a chance, have a look at the mag - it is only $3.25 and is chokka with recipes - no makeup or fashion in this one! I have always found the recipes to be really clear and accurate and most would fall into the 'very easy' category. Most recipes are priced up and all of them have their nutritional details listed.
