I took this photo while we were in Urunga today - much to the amusement of the young people accompanying me - "how are you going to get a blog out of that?" they all asked, chuckling away...
Well my first thought was just the color contrast between the dandelion, the grass and the fallen jacaranda flowers - I mean who would consciously put green, purple and yellow together!
Then I thought it was a bit of a change from the other jacaranda photos I have taken.
But I have decided that this blog is about being yourself, despite what everyone else looks like or says or otherwise determines as 'normal'. It is about being yourself - even when they call you a weed. It is about appreciating the intrinsic beauty of just being. It is about appreciating how your beauty becomes more apparent when contrasted to those around you.
Any other ideas for a blog theme around the photo?

It's a beautiful photo and agree it's about being yourself. The 'weed' stands out as being alive and having the most beauty :)
