The Beach

Ok so I haven't cooked for a week (and I think that was good) but there was no way I was missing out on the beach :-) And yes there is more to come - but I will post them periodically. I know I have been on holidays but my blog is looking 'different' at the moment ....

i love the pics too mg, may i ask what it is that you love about the beach? i ask because i think everyone loves a beach, but the reasons are usually quite different.

t and i sit on headland and he sees good fishing spots in the channels running along the beach, i see miles or solitude and great walking spots, imagining what natural treasures i might fins washed up...what is it for you?

Well for me Miss K. being a taurean, is the smell, then the sound..the
scrunch of wet sand underfoot...the visual of it is probably last thing on my mind...if that makes sense...

Great pic MG...I know it drives others nuts (antonio especially) but there is something majestic bout such massive man made structures on the sand line as there is there...

reminds me of biblical verse about not building on sand I spose

I love the beach for the colors, the ever changing waves, the freshness of the smell, the energy that abounds, the contrast between sand and sea and rocks, for the treasures to be found on the shoreline, for the meditative sound of the waves, for the sky scape that will never be exactly the same again ...

oh yes mg, the smell...delicious! I used to get so hungry for that smell when we lived in Toowoomba. Changing yet same, powerful, yet gentle and meditative oh yes.
