or "Free Books Online"Project Gutenberg is an online library that stores "cultural works" (ie books) that can be downloaded for free. It was started in the early 70's by Michael S Hart. The books are typed (or scanned in) by a word-wide team of volunteers. At present there is over 25,000 books as part of Progect Gutenberg but if you check out the website, you can find links for millions.
