Byron Travels

Yah I am definitely going to Bryon this year - and now I have company it is even better.

To me Byron is like Bellingen or Margaret River or the Salamanca Markets - places you just have to go to once in your lifetime (at least). Now I have Bello covered - it is on my regular route too and from work so it is easy to drop into. Margaret River, well haven't done it for a few years but have some fabulous memories of when I was there. And being that Byron is only a couple of hours up the road, it was on definite-must-do list for 2008.

Now do you know what is on the top of my list of things to do in Byron. Yes there is the most easterly point in Australia. Yes there is lots of culture. Yes there are foodie places everywhere. Yes there is beaches to die for. Yes there is waterfalls. And all of these things are on the list somewhere, just not on the top lol.

I want to go to the Byron Bay Chilli Company! Now I am not sure there are tours available - or if there is anything to actually 'see' but ... well I want to at least eat some of their products while I am in Byron - that would be a very satisfactory second option. Hmm, just going through their website, no mention of factory visits ... will have to settle for eating instead. It's a hard life lol.

Lucky you - I thought you were going to say you were going to read Byron while you were there
