I have really been enjoying Abbey's Wellness Wednesdays.
I have a great doctor and I wouldn't change that but so much of our 'health' is based on things that we can and should do for ourselves.
Eating well, relaxing, feeding the soul, looking after our metal health, having great friends and other support, fitness ... well the list goes on. They all form crucial parts of our overall 'wellness'. And the best part is that so many of these things are little things we can introduce into our daily routine - costing little money and taking up little time.
An easy and important investment to make for each and every one of us.

You gave me a shock and some confusion darling. I looked at this and thought 'Have I missed Tuesday' but you do raise a good point. If we dont take responsibility for our health, who will
Good point about us being responsible for our own health and wellness. Eating well and staying reasonably active helps tremendously.
Also having a good laugh helps too. I have two entries this week for HoT...
My Favourite Doctor and Dr Hackenbush
Happy HoT day.

I love the stack of stones for Wellness Wednesday … reminding me I used to do this one on my other blog, Sacred Ruminations … and perhaps I’ll check out the link at Abbey’s sometime soon (as time permits). I’m glad you have a good doctor … I do too (and I concur about taking responsibility for our own health by making wise choices), but for my HoTs post I shared something else at Small Reflections.
Hugs and blessings,
I think you are totally right..we got to introduce healthy and stress buster activities in our day to day life
You make some very good points here!
Vitamin and nutrient requirements would come totally from your diet. The problem is - many people make poor food choices every day. And even with a well-balanced diet, studies find that nutrient values of foods have been declining for decades because of soil depletion. When looking to buy natural health supplements, leading the list should be the daily vitamin/mineral/nutrient supplement that is the basis of your supplement program. And all daily supplements are not created equal.

You are speaking my language Bob - I spend my life trying to get the lovelies (and anyone else who will listen) to understand that. I get through to some, and the others ... well I just hope I have planted a seed for future growth :-)
