Hey there - sorry for replying to your question on my blog in your blog and so late! No, not me (re the baked doughnuts) but I remember seeing a recipe somewhere as well - I'll let you know if I find the person who posted it!

Thanks Kim. SBS started playing it a few years ago to correlate with the showing of the documentary of the making of the video. Everyone, including SBS donated their time and resources to the production. And yes the guy is real - a real fair dinkum Aussie cab driver, who wrote the song himself :-)
here is is 3 months later and jack and i are sitting on shift cacking ourselves...lol...x
