I am not dying, not anymore than any of us are at any moment. We run, hopefully as fast as we can, and then everyone must stop. We can only choose how we handle the race.

Ha, as one who participates (literally) in a lot of races, usually on a weekly basis, I'm more like the tortoise than the hare... I don't go as fast as I can, rather, slow and steady. I don't care if I finish in last place, I just want to finish.
And that's just about how I handle most things in life, I just want to finish what I start.
