Okay I know it is only 3.30 pm but I have had the best day.
Whilst at my last job, I worked for a few months with an amazing woman named Amber and today, after what seems like a million failed attempts, we got together for lunch. We treated ourselves to the views and atmosphere of the cafe at Park Beach where the food was great but the company even better.
We laughed, we chatted, we laughed some more. I met her partner. Three hours flew by without any effort at all.
You can see from the photo we moved out of the protection of the cafe to the windy outdoor area and as much as that is not good for my hair style (what style!) it was refreshing and prevented the day from being too hot.
It was amazing and we won't be waiting so long for a catch up next time :-)
