Tomato Soup

It is raining and cooler than other days so I have been making soup again (have you figured out I am a soup fan?). Actually that decision was also influenced by finding some local, organic tomatoes for $3 a kg.

I cooked and pureed the tomatoes. Added some freshly ground black pepper and a little Tabasco. Then part swirled/part mixed through a little sour cream.

Served with my wood-fired sourdough bread I found on the weekend and this Mountaingirl is in heaven :-)

mmm from me to...the wood fired sour dough sounds so romantic...for a lump of bread..lol..

Sounds wonderful, I love tomato soup and sour dough bread. It's what I call comfort food.
