Hey MG! Long time no see! Sammi just told us this morning that there was an awesome Kewl Kid challenge on your blog.. Sorry it's taken us so long to respond!
Okay, we believe that the animal is a Manx Loaghtan sheep, the mineral is thulium (Miss V remembered this because it is number 69 on the element poster and it's Aunty Sammi's favourite.. Go figure!)
The vegetable we're not 100% on - but we think it's a fodder beet, or some kind of hybrid beetroot.
Fun challenge, MG... We might have to think about starting a Kewl Kid Challenge Sunday meme!
Two out of three - I should have known lol. The vegetable is an old fashioned one - a mangel wurzel. Apparently they taste really good and are easy to grow lol.
Psssstt... MG! We did a bit of research on the mangelwurzel and discovered that we were all right - it IS actually a member of the beet family originally produced as a type of fodder for cattle.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beet
