Brilliant... I loved the oxymorons at the end.
I think we misjudge Australian children though. Belle rarely watches tv, its just not a thing in our house. Josef has established his own home and television is not a priority... we are however computer/technology junkies but they chose what they watch & use it to be informed.
I think in my parents generation it was novel, in mine we began to question its validity, in Josefs its rejected as biased, unreliable, dishonest and old fashioned.

I just recently bought cable, and I already regret it (and it hasn't even been installed yet).
For the past year, I've abandoned TV...and it's been great. I've been reading and writing...and *gasp* talking to people.
It wasn't my choice to get the cable, but I know it's going to be a terrible distraction. Anyway, funny song (what year is that from?)
Not sure Jason .. hang on let me Google ... 1991 ... so that makes it "an oldie but a goodie" :-)
